I've had upto 5 Boxer girls living together and no problems.
I currently have 4, the eldest two are spayed and the younger two entire.

Although there is an old saying 'dogs fight to breed, bitches fight to breathe'.

I've known people that have had no problems and then others that have had to rehome because of fighting within the 'pack'.
I haven't had any real problems with my girls but I am ever watchful to make sure there aren't any problems starting.

Good luck with your rescue and hope all goes well.

I'm addicted to my Boxers

Just to add my tuppenceworth in.

I have two bitches and a dog living happily together, one bitch is elderly, the other is two years old and we have a 6 month old boy. I have had no problems, the younger two respect my old girl and she gets peace to sleep if she wants to because the two young ones play together. Before this I had an elderly boxer boy, my oldest bitch and the youngest bitch together and there were no problems there either apart from the usual telling off if a pup gets too boisterous.

    Good luck.

Hopping in here. Just want to add its no guarantee your girl wont take vaginitis again even after season/spay. We were told same as you. Very surprised to see her with it again some 6-9 months after her spay! having said that we have never had probs with our entire boy. From day one he was told very firmly to behave when she has it.

As for bitches my uncle has always had 4 or more (boxers) & we at any one time have 2 + (rescue) you just need to be a wee bit more aware & make sure of your pecking order. Top dog always gets first type of thing. Its way dogs think & keeps it in perceptive. Boxers are fantastic dogs, I grew up with them & my uncle has them.

Good luck & look forward to hearing about your new addition.

Lenny has arrived! He is a beautiful boxer male that we have been very lucky to find! He is a real sweetie. We picked him up on Sunday evening and since then he and Lola have been inseperable! They love each other. We are over the moon to have him as a new member of our family. :049:
He is wonderful with my girls and loves nothing more than a good snuggle with us all. He is a little anxious when ever one of us leave the room, but I guess that is to be expected. I am sure that he will soon learn that he is here with us for keeps, and that we will always be back for him. X

This is Lenny and Lola after a busy session of "getting to know you" play! Lenny is nearest, Lola is just behind him. We are all smitten! x
