    Any guesses on the breed?

The shelter said spaniel mix when I got her but now all I ever get from people is australian shepherd. Maybe some border collie too? what do you guys think? she did have a haircut a few months ago, so her hair is not full length in the pics

    her as a puppy

Aussie shepherds don't have ticking in their coats like that, but its common in Border Collies. I can definitely see collie in her. She's beautiful!

She's not an Aussie - Collie x probably. Lovely girl though :)

I don't think she's a Small Munsterlanader either, they only come in brown and white don't they?

to get that 'ticking' there is usually a colour/merle gene in there.i used to have a 'ticked' girly like that she was a wsd her sire was a tri colour and her dam a blue merle:grin: which side did it come from??? lol.

The ticking is a different gene from merle!!!! Ticking affects the White Areas, Merle affects the Coloured areas!

I doubt she has any Munsterlander in her. They are a very unusual breed; more so in the USA then here.

I think Collie x Spaniel of some sort is a really good bet.

Thanks guys for the guesses and compliments! I saw a large musterlander in a book a long time ago and thought it looked a lot like her also. They aren't too common in the states though. I think the merle look on her front legs is only due to the haircut she had- it doesn't look like that normally

I haven't seen any ticked BC before (except pictures), but maybe thats just me. I know they exist though haha. Also her ears don't stand up like a BC either. Can they be down like hers?
