Hi again, its true about greys being addictive, i have one on foster currently, he and my dog get on great although he wears the pants (which apparently is unusual with a dog and a bitch) he is great with my two kids and indoors although he is a little in your face at times, has to be first with everything. His one fault however is with non-greys - he has not been socialised and he is not very good when walking which i am finding stressful.

BTW don't know if you are aware Rich but you can look up Poppys racing history/pedigree on Greyhound-data.com if you know her racing name or you can input her ear tattoos. Its very interesting i think.

She looks a sweetheart - good luck x

She looks very much like my Bones, i.e. lovely! I'm glad you got a black one as I was told they were harder to rehome because people prefer the ones in fancy colours and patterns.

We've had Bones for 3 months now and he sleeps in the bedroom. For the first week he was downstairs - barking, whining, wailing, urinating...! It just seemed easier in the end. He is extremely happy, going upstairs with 'the pack' every night. We did have to teach him how to climb stairs though! On a couple of occasions he got 'stuck' halfway up (more whining!).

The one downside is that when he sleeps he makes noises like a dragon and he scratches the wall when he has his dreams about racing / chasing rabbits / whatever he dreams about. So hopefully you're not a light sleeper (like me! :-( ).

I hope you enjoy your new friend!
    Maz x
