My Story:

As a member of the Armed Forces, my wife and I experience prolonged periods of seperation. We got a dog for several reasons, including companionship whilst I was away and also as a running partner. Reasearching many breeds lead us to a most handsome, intelligent, energetic, athletic and friendly breed - The Siberian Husky.

We have competed in many runs with our Huskies and have raced from 5km up to 20miles with them. The dogs welfare is the first and foremost concern and we have dropped out and even not started races when we have had concerns.

We are avid Canicrossers and are willing to give advice to potential runners about their dogs, training, equipment and events.
