My Story:

I have lived with dogs all my life and when I moved out of my parents house I didn't last long before I got my first Lurcher, Merlin. He was a Greyhound x Saluki. That was nearly 15 years ago and very sadly he passed away at the grand old age of 14 last year. A about a year after I got Merlin my partner and I bought a second Lurcher who we called Dexter, he is still with me now and is a very elderly 13 but still loves a short walk around the park, comes caravaning with the family and although he is very fussy (but at 13 I guess he has a right to be) he loves his food. In May 2010 we decided to get another puppy and after much thought decided on a Beagle !!! Mable is a delight, if a little naughty and unusually for a Beagle walks off lead and comes back when she is called (most of the time !!). Then in February this year I had a call from a from a friend who works in a local rescue centre, they had a six month old Beagle pup looking for a new home, we couldn't resist !! and that is how we came to have Hank. Now I wont say that having three dogs is easy especially in the caravan lol but I love all three dearly and love the two hour long walks a day with the Beagles and a gentle stroll with Dexter
