- Hello Everybody, My fiance and myself have recently purchased and 8 week old Akita female puppy. We named her Kenzan after the second Akita ever in the states. Actually she's named after Helen Kellers Akita. We are in the process of training her. We currently live on 4 acres on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We are looking to show her in the future for sure. We want to get out in the dog world a little more so here we are ..
