My Story:

I'm a disabled, widowed senior who lives for family, my dog(s) and creating things.
I just lost the last of my three dachshunds ( two to age and the last 9 year old to a broken back).
I adopted Cobber who followed a FB friend's husband on his 5 mile run.
When they got no responses from a couple of weeks of posting and found no lost dog ads or posters in a wide area, they brought him to me. Cobber (Australian slang for friend) is a wonderful boy.
He doesn't try to escape the big yard, he sneaked threeof his many toys outside where he tosses them and runs with them. He plays through the fence with neighbor dogs and one neighbor has brought hers over for a play date.
Our issue is that Cobber is terrified of leashes.
