    My Story:
I have had dogs most of my life and I used to show and breed Bichon Frise and Lowchen, but this was done to a strict breeding programme. I moved from the UK four years ago and now live in Cyprus. I did not plan on getting any more dogs after my last three Bichons had to be put to sleep for various reasons (cancer, renal failure), but the island is awash with stray, dumped and cruelly treated dogs. I therefore rescued my first Cyprus Poodle who looks so much like a Bichon especially since I trim her like it. Even though I have had her for eighteen months she still does not trust strangers and will shy away from them. She has always been the most well behaved dog from day one. Then came Koo Koo who is aptly named because she was a mad little poodle when we first rehomed her from the shelter. She is now the most outgoing, lovable, most of the time well behaved and now well adjusted. Then three weeks ago came Keo who I am convinced is a pure bred Tibetan Spaniel puppy who was dumped with his sister on a golf course. Luckily they were found quickly so did not suffer too much and again he is turning out to be a very well behaved dog, as after only three accidents indoors and being told he has been completely clean in the house. I am still learning about him and he about his adopted family but we are getting along quite well.
