My Story:

I have loved and wanted to work with animals since a very young age and have a specific interest in Canine Health. I have moderate experience of working with horses and love to ride. I have worked in RSPCA and boarding kennels. My current job is as an Animal Care Assistant, I work with a large variety of animals from reptiles, rodents and birds to ponies, donkeys, goats and dogs etc. I am currently studying for my level 2 qualification in Animal Care and have completed course levels 1 & 2 in Donkey Care. I have some degree of dog grooming skills and knowledge which I have obtained through my current job and hope to gain my grooming qualification within the next 2 years. I have in the past been Health Co-ordinator on the NIS committee (a very eye opening experience!) as well as having attended canine health and behaviour seminars held by various professionals. I have had first hand experience of breeding both dogs and bearded dragons.
