Simply this. I do not need to and lie , it does not benefit me. What I have said is fact, of course, I understand the truth hurts.

SC and her friend (who is now under the name Dogloverr and only filled in his fake profile , of about two words or something ridiculous  because that is all he could be bothered to make up, once provoked to by a mod on here) were both banned for this kind of behaviour in the past. Why:?: because that is their sad and twisted level. Unlike decent, members of this forum who get involved with the community spirit of the forum, they are here for their own Agenda. SC advertises her new breed and attempts to discredit the NID and DL backs up SC to discredit the NID and anyone you disagrees with SC.

And she tells me to get a life:roll:

Dont know Shona, to Joe Public they'd likely look like most litters of the same type of dog?

Point two - Well they've made a fortune so far so probably. Do you think she has back problems with those lets call them puppies?

Just a point after reading all this "off topic" stuff. How can sc comment on a csv when she has only had one 5 mins!!!! Secondly if anyone really wants to know about pure bred csv why dont they go to "THE" wolfdog site and ask those that have had them for years?

I would agree with you Navajo on the Saarloos. I think even 3/4 is not ideal for most pet owners. 50% and under is fine though and actually tones down the silly, clownish, 'in your face' behaviour of the NI.

As for pure Czech. I am delighted with mine - but not for a novice owner. Again, probably a 50% or less mix would be ideal pet material.

The Czech are far superior to the NI in every way. They think for themselves - not in an independent, defiant way - they actually do think things out for themselves and make their own decisions. They want to please and they learn best from copying the other dogs. Given a choice, they will copy the ones who are being sensible and being praised.

They have very active minds that need stimulating. They are loyal but don't crave affection like NI do. If anything, they are rather aloof.

I love mine to bits and am really pleased with her - can't wait to get another.

In the wrong or inexperienced hands I can see that they would be too much and would soon realise they had the upper hand.

    Sorry to disagree Rach.

I know I have only had a full Czech for 5, nearly 6 months, but the difference between her and an NI is remarkable.

I understand that people have had problems with these dogs in the past - possibly through bloodlines or just been in the wrong hands - maybe I have just been lucky. But I am well impressed with my bitch - I don't know any other dog that has been so well adjusted, balance and strong nerved as my girl.

I have deliberately gone out of my way to confront her with lots of very noisey, scarey situations that would spook most NI - she has remained calm, studied the situation and decided herself that it doesnt warrant concern.

I never even had to teach her to walk to heel - first time out she just walked in the correct position - never pullilng or lagging behind. She really is a dream.

She is not aggressive, demanding and is like an adult dog in a small body.

Obviously I can't comment on adults - other than those I have met. Some of the early ones I wasnt impressed with but the ones I have met over the last year have been fine.

The community spirit of this forum????? That involves personal attacks on me does it??

Who is Dogloverr??? I don't have a clue who it is - just someone who sees things as they are from what I have read of the posts.

I have a life Nes - its you who lacks direction.

Some people on here manage to ask sensible genuine questions and I will answer them.

Nes you started this thread about whether or not people are aware of what they are getting. I can't make it any clearer what I am breeding and, as confirmed by one of my own puppy buyers, they are told exactly what they are getting. In fact, it is even part of my contract that they sign to say that they are aware of what they are getting. Your personal attacks on me are insulting and upsetting to my puppy buyers - who are perfectly happy with the puppies they have.

In the past maybe breeders weren't so open about what they were breeding - I wouldn't know - but that era didn't involve me so please leave me, my dogs, my puppies and my puppy buyers out of your posts.

Does the NID need any help being discredited then ww? SC i have had my fair share of involvement with csv both pure and cross but feel that what i have seen really depends on the way they are raised and the owner. I should of been put off a long while ago after being kindly handed a dog that very nearly killed one of dogs and attacked me!

Probably because they fear being eaten alive. Apparently their partial to a Brit with little knowledge of CsV's.

What would you say is the selling point of a wolfdog cross?

I only ask as if I was to get another "wolfy" breed I may look at something other than a NI but having got a cross and she being slightly mental (bless her) how would I know what I was getting?
i.e isis is 3/4 NI 1/4 husky but has the build of a husky, temp of a husky and traits of a husky (from what i've read on the net) so how would u know what you are getting?

I have asked this question terribly and for some stupid reason i cant get out what im trying to say
I hope you get the gist of what im asking lol x

from what i have read owners of NI experience different challenges. i.e Recall, some seem good, others not so good. some seem prone to seperation anxiety, im sure others dont. some seem to have a destructive streak whilst others are fantastically behaved.
by adding a percentage of saarloos or cwd does this change some of the negatives ni may have? is recall etc improved?

I remember that - but isn't that what I said - they are not for novice owners.
