Again size is good but It looks like they are pointed.

I should imagine he will be a very popular stud dog, personally i think he's the best looking NI by far. In this thread tho like all the others his ears are too big, not easy to find a dog with small rounded ears is it?

I know. Yes it does seem that they all have round ears regardless of subspecies. I'm having a good look through my pictures, to find one that doesn't just for the hell of it now lol.

Tbh I haven't seen any pure wolves with anything but rounded ear, would be interesting if anyone can find one with pointed ears.

Well that Italian ones aren't too round and neither is the pic of the Arctic I posted. But this may be personal perception......

I agree, the Italian's are more pointed than the other, along with the one you posted. Off to have a look at more italians to see if its just the one.

What do you think of these ears?:

If you look closely at the ear's they are not forward, but sightly sideways, so this gives the impression of being pointed.

They look pointy to me!
