An anniversary present from my OH! Not that I agree with giving dogs as presents but he knew we'd narrowed it down to three breeds, the Basenji, the Fauve and the Welsh Terrier but didn't expect to look for a puppy until Winter 09/Spring 10. She's by Saredon Diehard out of Felstead and Saredon lines on the dams side. I love her to bits already, she's such a character and is even sleeping on my bed In her scruffy state at her first point to point on Saturday
She is 8 months old so going to attend some ring craft classes and then when she's a little older we may have a go at some little agility at my local dog club as she turns on a sixpence and is quite whizzy BD, probably not the best place to start but I have stripped an ear from looking at the diagrams on the Welsh Terrier dog club
Sorry sorry sorry I misread I thought I had read that was her name. Bruce thats his pet name is a lovely boy I have used him myself at stud. If you want any help with hand stripping give me a shout
He is a lovely dog and has a cracking coat with really good colour. One of the girls we had out of the litter was a Crufts this year and last and she got 2nd in Post graduate bitch as National terrier las weekend. The guy showing her got her as a pet then started showing so he was a complete novice. I also still groom one of his boys, most laid back welsh terrier I have ever met.
