Sorry wrong, I crossed no line and I stand by my reasons. If I was asked (as I was) to name dogs I was talking about, perhaps I should of said "dog A" or something, then the confusion would of been avoided yes?

Why would I think you have been duped? If you want to pay extorionate prices for crossbreeds, Im not about to stop you am I? Neither are those breeding them!!

As a rottie owner/breeder who shows dogs, I welcome people discussing every aspect of the breed, the good the bad the terrible and the ugly, I dont see it as tearing the breed apart, people should know it all more so if they are considering getting one of these dogs.

The key words here in your statement are the good. Ignored and dismissed by you and others like you who essentially have very limited understanding of the breed. Anyway, im not getting drawn back into this witchhunt so please feel free to have your own "last word" too.

I've read the entire thread and it was blown out of proportion by you, You started with your sarcastic comments and then get all defensive when you dont like the answers.

As for limited understanding my record of success with all sorts / breeds of dogs speaks for itself.

all this knowlage coming from someone who has owned dogs for three months, unless you take on board the family pets you had as a teenager I hope you continue to do well with your dogs, as you will look a bit daft if you dont.

Not aware that I am evading any questions. I have been a member of the other forum about wolfdogs that relate to CWD organisations that we cant mention here; for a very long time (if thats the one you are refering to, if not direct me).

A certain Mr winder brought up the subject of the kennels on that forum and made many accusations, when people asked him to sustantiate them he never produced evidence. Period. Some accusations changed and insinuations made. The problem with him is he is a serial liar on forums and was outraged when CWDs were crossed with other dogs, then did so himself. He said he no longer bred CWD and then said he did. etc etc to the point that anyone who originaly thought there was something happening learned to ignore his postings. Read them from beginning to end.

The same person who claimed to have all this evidence gathered from the said kennels left the kennels around april of 2004, to set up a wolfdog park in spain. He left SIX of his dogs at this kennels and was not heard from for a year and a half, such was his concern.

If the kennels were so bad why did he leave his dogs there? If he was there 18 months then why did he not try and improve things instead of skulking about collecting evidence? Yes I saw the kennels during this time. Things gradually change and for well over a year someone else has been looking after the place and as always making changes and improvements. I have never been there when there hasn't been some work in progress.

I have never witnessed the kennel owner doing anything illegal. The more I look into it the less convinced I have become that she is guilty of anything other than prefering her wolfdogs thin a debate that I will not continue, but is well known. Many of these dogs have gained european championship status in their 'thin' state.I have a bitch that is hard to keep weight on and a dog who is impossible to keep thin.

As for cross breeding I can state that I haven't seen any evidence to confirm this but am not sure why she would do it anyway having access to all the best European championship winning dogs to breed from?

I don't know Genova but she looks sweet, you tell me she is two, then maybe she was a little young to breed at an early age, so don't know if it was an accident or what? I would enjoy meting her for sure, breed standard or not.

The rest of the dogs in the Uk seemed good examples, in fact some are outstanding and I was very surprised that they were sold to the UK. Saw the bitch Zsa Zsa in France and she made little impression on me. I have met a lot of dogs. The dogs all seemed typical Saarloos in nature, and would be happy to have any of them.

I find your nature rather aggressive in tone, Dawn, I am not evading any questions but neither am I required to answer anything in the court of Dawn. People run kennels, businesses, lives in different ways. I do not propose to preside over an armchair debate about it.

People here spout on about puppy farmers but have no real idea of what they are, they don't seem concerned over the lorry loads of puppies shipped in from eastern europe or ireland but instead focus on the odd small breeder that they can readily 'pick up' a bit of gossip about.

To be honest, there is a wealth of very successful/ knowledgeable people on this forum, if you drop the attitude, you could learn a lot on here, I know I did ;-)

Its called freedom of opinion.. My dog has been called a crossbreed too..BY an NI owner LOL>.that was funny!!
SO the fact that Dawn doesn't think Genova represents the breed well is her opinion.. she isn't being nasty about the dog!! and if you weren't on a witch hunt you would see that there is a difference to bitching about a dog or stating its not what they think of when they think of a breed..
