I have looked at the advertisement for these pups and find it odd that they are advertised as her envisaging that they would be suitable for enthusiasts in obedience, agility, cani x etc as she thinks they could excel in these fields.

Yet when I asked this question earlier in the thread the only reply I really recieved that answered my question stated:

My Saarloos X guys are still young and I dont have any intentions of doing any of the above activities with them so cant help from an experience point of view.

Anecdotally, so far though, my view is:
Schutzhund work- no chance they will bark yes but ALWAYS back off from confrontation.
    Agility-yes in familiar situations
    obedience and working trials-unlikely

From what ive read the CZW dogs probably perform better in all these fields

My point is that 2 days ago when I asked if these dogs were suitable for obedience or agility I did not get one reply saying that they were.

Now that a litter born today is advertised as not only being capable, but potentially having the ability to excel does seem rather strange.

    Genuine question alert  -
Are your pups advertised by word of mouth, recommendation, websites or free sites?

Is one of these for the one who has epilepsy in the lines? Money for old rope, isn't it? I hope you have informed the potential owners of the risk of epilepsy - i.e being a carrier and/or a sufferer - and I REALLY hope you are prepared and set up to take any pups back, no matter how many. And care for them. Even if they are epileptic.

    Have you?

The Sire prob isn't but what do you know of the bitch and what she can do??

Try to find my pups on free sites and you will fail!!!

Yes I have told them everything regarding the my bitch's line and the stud, going bk as far as I know for sure, as any good breeder would

And yes I would take any pup bk no matter what!!

Considering the bitch is only 18 months old I would presume not alot.

That's something then, but in my opinion, 'any good breeder' would not have bred from a dog with epilepsy in its lines.

I hope you will take back - and care for - any pup that develops epilepsy.

I also hope that you are keeping a log of these pups and ensuring they are never put to any other dog with epilepsy in their lines. Ditto with any progeny, etc. etc.

But I suspect you are not doing this.

I think the word you are looking for is potential?

I am sure you know that I have not met this bitch, but could you please advise then to what standard this bitch has reached in agility and obedience if this is the case as you say.

I certainly hope she does not excel in agility at 18 months old and having just had a litter

Ok hun, sorry my bad

    She hasn't got a Saarloos.

As it goes yes I am, you are jumping to assumption here LS. NOT one pup that I sell will be sold for breeding but as pets only, with a contract to Neuter all pups sold.
