It's no wonder the European breeders won't let their dogs come over here with all this going on, and who can blame them.

Considering you didn't know the history of your own breed maybe you shouldn't be stirring it up with others?

No one here wants to know the truth about these breeds, so why do you all go round and round in ever decreasing circles. Any genuine information just gets ignored.

well heres the reason i was banned- coincidentily the moment i asked about the kennels he got his dogs from(politely)

and wolfdog I was fairly sure i was right with regards to the gsd history but thought i would clarify it with members on here who know more than me.
If the reason i got banned was after that particular convo then he would have banned me then, not waited all this time

We're all like that are we? I've said on that genetic diversity thread, that without evidence it is just speculation. I posted the link to the kennels on here, so people could look and disurn for themselves, and I've asked you, if you know the truth of the matter, as you have clearly stated your oppinion on the matter. Still waiting for a response.

Believe it or not, some of us do actually give a dam about the dogs you know.

Do you honestly think people dont want the truth? For gods sake DOGS are suffering/will suffer because of these things! Nobody is stirring anything, its there for all to see, it was seen by somebody, she is banned from the CW forum, so GSDmad asked the question on her behalf, BOOM!!! banned!!!! Why?

I have read the thread on that forum, to me somebody would be pretty damn silly to say they provided evidence for court etc.. wouldnt they if they didnt? However, it is hearsay unless it can be proven, but for some reason it strikes a nerve doesnt it. How do you think owners of these dogs will feel? NOT knowing? It must tear them up!

I appologise if I missed something but the last question you put (on another thread) was a purely speculative one about the number of Saarloos in the UK, I gave you my estimate based on the fact that only a small number of dogs have been imported and that there appear to be only a couple of people who have them.

Genetic diversity: both Saarloos and CWD have relatively small gene pools.

Court case in France: Think about it; how would an Englishman who does not live there be able to initiate court proceedings and over what?

These breeds are speciality breeds on the continent and as such there are relatively few breeders and their cost is a bit higher than other breeds. Bringing a pup from Europe will lose the prime time for socialisation as you have to wait for all the tests under the passport scheme unless you break the law and bring it in illegally and irresponsibly.

Im sure anyone could, if they had evidence to support it.

Please dont think I have made my mind up I havent, Im just upset that if it is true how sucked in Ive been, and that the buyers of these dog will have been sold a load of what? I also am stumped by the hip grading. There is NO AA grade, despite frequently asking, nobody that has questioned it has been given the info to the proof of that it is ligitimate. What would you think?

There is NOTHING I would like more than to see the Saarloos established as a breed in this country, but it does appear the current situation has stopped that which is a real shame.

Ref the other thread, it was brought up, I think Liz has posted the link on here to it somewhere. It was basicly that although this person may have photos, it would be very easy to show what you want someone to see, and not what actually is.

Just to make it clear, I havn't sene any of this claimed evidence. Yes it is strange that someone in the uk could have a case in France. But like I've said, whithout definitive evidence either way, I'm on the fence here. I feel sory for the owners of these dogs, if their awear of this. Having their dogs brought into question.

IMO If you are banned for asking that question They know the truth and sounds like the rumours may be correct

There is some speculation to the ethics and pedegrees of the kennel Charlie from cry-wolf imported his dogs from. At the moment though it is just that speculation.

Gsd mad Asked Charlie about it, the question he asked can be found on here somewhere, he was banned, and the post removed.
