to get these dogs registered as pedigree would not be a good thing as they would then get with people who just want to parade them around the ring and they are far too intelligent for just that.all dogs were croosbreeds before they were registered pedigree and after all its a piece of paper saying your dog is to a breed standard and that at the moment is not anything to be boasting about.

Well thats your opinion and of course you are entitled to it. However, arent the czech and Saarloos exhibited on the continent?

yes they are, and all the ones i have met are not just paraded around the ring and then left in cages.
if they were registered then more uneducated people would get them just for that purpose.that would not be good for the breed, for they are perfect as the majority are with knowledgable owners.

banji, I dont understand why you feel people who show there dogs only do that and nothing else,
I show my rotties, I have also trained them in obed, I have one trained in attack work, tracking, they walk in the fields, go down the farm with me, spend time out with the horses with me, do training demos with me... loads of stuff.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I have never met a Saarloos cross, but the other "half" NI etc... plenty.

Thing is Geezer, I have absolutely no problem with the dogs themselves, its the crossbreeding I have the issues with. i really really like the Saarloos, Ive always said that, but I dont see any need to cross them with anything else, they are fine by themselves. I LOVE Lurchers too, but again, the breeds that make up these dogs can do the jobs the crossbreeds do, just as well, thats my gripe, not that people breed dogs to sell, you will see from my posts previous, if people keep, exercise and breed dogs well, I have no problem with it.

Ok, so assuming Im uneducated as I show my dogs as well as other things,
why not put it to the test, I will post vids of all the diff stuff my dogs do,
attack, obed, clicker work, tracking, whatever you like,
    you do the same?
    Educate us

I hate to see these blanket statements made about people who show there dogs, not everyone who shows there dogs has only red ribbons on there mind...honestly
