Thank you both for your kind comments on my Chis!

Will post more progress pics of the 'babies' when they start growing. They are at that funny age at the moment, where they are starting to do things for the first time. It's funny hearing them growl in play and yapping. They look too small to have a voice! They are soooooo for their Mummy though. Keep trying to get her to spend some time away from them, as I'm trying to wean them and it's not easy when they have a Mummy feeding them all the time. Soon as Krystal leaves the pen though, it's "wah, wah, wah........" - the other day I ignored them and took her off to play, when I went back they had both poo'd, walked in it, spread it in their bed - ooooooooh, it was a mess:roll: When Krystal is in with them she keeps the monkeys in order! What a great Mum!

    Oh they are lovely!
I grew up with a Chi and poodle and love them both especially because of that.
I quite fancy having a herd of chi's... just don't tell my two, or my OH lol

    Thanks Wishbone:grin:

I am partial to Poodles:grin: Don't tell my OH but that might be a breed I look to for the future. I also love Chinese Cresteds but, again, not spilling the beans yet to the OH, he stresses enough about having eight Chis:lol:

Frankie doesn't mind what you call him as, at the moment, he only answers to 'Phoebe' - he must be a little confused - bless him:?

I think "Two Socks Capone" would be a wonderful Dogsey name for my sweet lad.

By the way, did you notice that he looks like he may be longcoat. He comes from two smooths:roll: Apparently this happens when the smooths 'carry' the longcoat gene - great - so if he turns into the stunner I am expecting and I want to use him at Stud, I've only got one longcoat girl I can get him to cover:roll: Nevermind:mrgreen:

I love the pic of the pups and look forward to seeing more of your lovely chi's. Both pups are stunning but little Frankie is just the business and I can understand why you are keeping both. I have to say that Bailey boy is my favourite as he reminds me so much of my little chi buddy Sammi that I sometimes look after - they are great dogs.

But surely the Chi's are nice and little, so they don't take up much room! :? And Chinese Crested's are little too!

It's not like you've got eight galumphing Great Danes in the house! Mind you, OH says that 2 Boxers is enough, as we don't have enough sofas for a third one (dog on each sofa, humans sat on floor)

Thanks so much Sundance. Bailey is lovely but he's such a 'girl' - he cries if the Chi girls so much as look at him! (hence his nickname - Gayley:lol:  )

You are so right Isochick. My Hubby thinks he's so good "letting" me have all these Chis:lol: My eight little ones probably weigh less than a GSD:lol: so I think I can find room for a few more, later on:002:

Seriously though, if space and finances were a problem, I could see his point but they are not, so I'll just carry on ignoring his pleas for "no more dogs"

Awwww, thanks Angel44. They are such little fat sausages. Think that might have to be their nickname! You are right, Mummy is doing a fab job, probably a bit too "fab" as they are so stressy when she's not about:roll: I feel she needs a break but she's got no chance, soon as she's been out the pen for longer than 5 minutes, they go into "wah, wah, I want ma Mummy" mode.

As for "granny" - hadn't thought of that! Now I do feel old!!!!!

I like Princess Pebbles the best.

If I had a Chi I would call him Antonio (is in Banderas)

Oh, you are sooooooooo right. I don't think I will ever have enough Chis but Hubby disagrees:roll: When the kids are all grown up and gone off to do their own thing, I have visions of a big house in a field and dozens of Chihuahuas running around. I am truly obsessed with them. Wonder if there is a Chihuahuas Anonymous addiction club:lol: Mind you, I don't want to be 'cured'

Antonio is a great Chi name. Think you should get one and put lots of pics up. There is a definite lack of Chi owners on this Forum:lol:

If I'm honest, Tiani is my favourite. She was my first Chi and she is "perfect" - she is small (but very healthy) and sooooooooo pretty. Her photo doesn't do her justice. She's also never taken on the 'usuall' Chi traits, i.e. yapping, she's not at all scared of anything (dog or human), she's so well behaved and comes everywhere with us. She really is perfection in a little parcel! But shhhhh.... don't tell the others she's my fave, I hide it very well:002:

I'll take some more today Pidge. Have to get the Hubby to load them on the computer though. Haven't worked out to do that just yet:roll:

Thank you so much Valandra:grin: I am very proud of the Chi family - I must admit. From what I hear, Chis can be little monsters but mine are all pretty well behaved (well apart from the odd Chi trait - like Pebbles is a yapper at other dogs when out and Bailey makes like a howly, crying, yelping kind of sound when he meets someone new - think its excitement - oh and Fluffles loves to chew a shoe:roll: ) but other than that, they are soooooooo good. I adore them.

I am especially proud of my Krystal who is the best Mum ever to her little babes. She should win "Mum of the Year" award!

I might get one as my next foster dog  That would be funny, I'd have to put her in my pocket to get through all the big puddles we go through in the fields!!!!!!

Chis, rain, puddles and mud really don't go:lol: They are a bit prissy like that (well mine are anyway). In the bad weather, I put a peepad under the garden table for them to use for peeing, or otherwise they'll hold themselves until they are fit to burst rather than get wet! Spoiled or what! Tiani and Krystal think they are Princesses. Mud - NEVER!
