The AGM is a big joke I bet none of the other commitee members will stand up and take over just sit like nodding ducks.
They will come out with some bull that they going to fix it all with JK still at the helm so accomplish nothing.
Nice to see Wolfie and a few others speaking out, about time.
I do firmly believe with someone like Claudeen ot Tracey as president they could turn it around, not huge fans of them but they seem to be able to have civil debates.

If the membership have no confidence in the committee, I am sure they can call for a special General Meeting, and vote out the committee? not 100% sure on this but it sort of how it goes lol.

..I think there will be few implications.
As we have seen over many years the answer to any 'little difficulties' within the NIS is to use a smoke screen. I understand the smoke screen used this time is to hand out awards to almost everyone.

It is not in the interests of some people to answer awkward questions, after all there is it seems big money to be made out of selling cross bred dogs with a variety of fancy names and dubious origins.

Some of us with an interest in all dogs have been watching the 'goings on' with the Inuit type cross breeds for many years with a growing unease, nothing really changes.

Isnt this the case? Hasnt JK stepped down (or been forced to?) If so it should bring a new morn and hopefully a good start.

No-one has heard whether she has or not yet BD. She was asked to step down back in October but whether it happened or not is a different matter.

Claudeen or Tracey would be excellent for the job

I will eat my hat if she ever resigns, it would mean she had some morals if she did but I think most of us already know that is not the case.
Even after someone (who is privvy to what is really happening within the NIS) resigns, the majority of people are more concerned how it was done than why?
There is a destinct lack of backbone within the NIS, I know my conscience couldn't be salved with a rosette:?

She has, she was asked to and now has, good for them!!! Tracey has taken over, IMO a MUCH better candidate and more honest person. JK is now committee only. Good day me thinks!!

No morals LH, she had no choice! too many people aware of what she has done. I hope those who thought she was a saint can now see what damage she really has done.

That is excellent news indeed BD

I dont understand why they have kept her on the committee though but its a start.

I will be really chuffed if its true that Tracey is now running things. Honesty and integrity is exactly what they need now and she is the right person to bring that about.

I don't know Tracey so can't comment on if she is good for it or not, but I do really hope she is and will do what is right and not what she is told to do. Time will tell I guess.

Sorry maybe i'm missing something here, is this the same Tracey who went to a breeding talk in Glasgow with JK a few weeks ago? Are they not quite close friends?

O now you put a dampener on it, I hope not.

Does this mean we can have our memberships back for wanting JK out and getting banned for disagreeing.

All clubs and committees have disagreements, people come and go and are sometime pushed but whether it makes any difference to the running of the club depends on the original constitution.

If it were drawn up on a legal basis and with the rights and desires of the membership in mind then it should continue with that aim. If on the other hand it it was originally draw up as a smoke screen or to further the ambition of one or several individuals who were at the initial meeting then it needs the club, so formed, to be dissolved and then reconstituted in a proper manner with a legal constitution and rules and regulations for the benefit of the membership not the officers and committee.

Not saying this applies here but if it does changing personnel is not enough it needs to be reconstituted to make sure it does not get into the same situation again.

Ok how do you guys know that JK has resigned?

And why was all her cronies giving rosettes, vases and awards?

Be interesting to see if Tracey opens up the forum to all us that were banned by JK and start afresh and a new beginning or just carry on as it is.

Ian has already said she was asked to step down quietly but refused, her profile is now "committee member" when it used to be "president" I also read that Tracey takes the "presidents shield" I assume that reads as it sounds.

I think the "presidents shield" is an award that the President gives to whoever they think has done the best work for the NIS or something.
