Does anyone know of a good site or shop to get a fabric greyhound collar? Cassie has a leather one for walks but this is rubbing her neck a bit. I want one thats still a bit different (she has a lovely hot pink leather one with a celtic design at the min).
I searched everywhere for a new collar for Mo a couple of years ago. When we first had her she came with a brown leather collar. Well, a white dog with black spots just does not look right in a brown collar, for goodness sake In the end my Daughter got one on ebay. Tis lovely it's black with little heart perforations. Might be worth having a look for a fashion conscious Greyhound

My favourite collar shops are http://www.kitschcollars.com www.cascollars.com www.jansgifts.co.uk Lurcher Link & Greyhound Gap also have ranges of collars in their shops
I've used Jan's lurcher and greyhound gifts before, last ink in Sez and Amber's post above. I have been tempted by these as well, some gorgeous designs... http://www.2houndsdesign.com/newproducts.php?days=900&sortby=add_date&sortdirection=0
These people can makethem to the size you want and whatever design you want. I have one for my setter it's great. It was made for a greyhound and they said if he didn't fit and wanted another made just to send them the measuremnets and they would do it http://www.collarsrus.co.uk/

Those do look very nice! We have decided at the moment though to leave her collar off during the day as we are both out. I read a horrible story about a dog that managed to strangle itself on a collar and gate and it scared the poo out of me. So mow neither of mine have collars on.
Horrid story but it must be pretty rare and unusual accident?? Leaving them with no i.d. on would really scare me, I'd hate them to get out by accident and not have any clear i.d. on... And there's nothing to get hold of I'd be worried that I wouldn't be able to catch them... (mine aren't terrible obedient!!
