I never disputed that, but I asked if you thought it was irresponsible to rehome an aggresive dog? Do you believe (personally) that a bitch is fine after one litter then suddenly becomes aggressive after a second?

I AM being serious Dawn, the stud fee is the same price as a pup.

:-( I've got no personal experience of breeding (and that won't change!) but I did have to ask the question because I've not heard of that happening.

I asked about Luna as she's a lovely looking dog. I have a passion for whites and any that come up for re-homing, I take an interest in. I didn't even know about SC and Luna until this evening when I clicked onto the website link on the advert and it brought up the Sansorella website

NO! KNOWING she may produce Epilepsy if bred from or even develop it herself, the RESPNSIBLE thing would be to keep her, not pass the potential problem onto a poor pet owner whos heart may be broken watching a pet suffer, when people like JK continue breeding more and more without any care or consideration at all!!

No of course I do not believe she should be bred from was she spayed before she was rehomed? The point i was trying to make is that there are people that have one rule for one person/s and another for another person/s

Dawn, Cheyenne has admitted the intention of breeding from Nanuq next year even though she believes she maybe a carrier of epilepsy, is that responsible, morally right or ethical?

Some breeders do sell on dogs, or rehome them. You may not be like that Dawn but it is the way of the world, personally I could not do it but many breeders do. Look at poor Breeze.

The reason why Hex was with Julie is because Sandra Curry owed her money. Hex was never bred from and went to a pet home in West Sussex.

Breeze, who's Hex's older sister, went on to have two litters who did produce epilepsy in at least two of the offspring.

Loki is sitting by me now and I put my foot on him to rub him and he started trembling. Of course, I thought he was going into another cluster of fits and my mind instantly raced ahead to rectal diazepam, vets and possible death - something I cannot bear to think about.

To all breeders - please do not breed from dogs with epilepsy in their lines. As yet, there is no genetic test to find carriers/non-carriers etc. and until there is, more owners will go through what I go through if people keep on breeding from dogs with this disease IN THE LINES.

Indeed and the person who bred Breeze for the second time is on this thread. Might I add she also rehomed Breeze. Dawn, I know this is against your morals, sorry to bring it up again.

and don't you have Breeze for sale? Why? Is it because she has produced pups with epilepsy that you had to give away?

Hunny, that's one thing I don't intend on doing. I will do everything in my power to prevent it.

Poor Breeze??? What is so bad about her living in the middle of the countryside and going to local farms every day rabbit hunting???

From what I've gathered Marie, you bred two litters from her knowing she was a carrier of epilepsy, that's what's wrong.

As for the rabbit hunting, I bet Luca can beat her anyday
