to start, my boys 2 yrs 3 months and has reached 2 without signs of hereditary illness being it should come out before 2 looks like hes mighty fine, healthy loving cuddleiciously gorgeous x

Long may it continue. However, that isn't always the case, for example I believe onset of Addison's starts at around 4/5 years of age.

Mine isnt what I would class as old since he is the grand old age of 7.5yrs with the behaviour of a yearling

And with addisons does it take a while before it gets bad or is the onset quick ...

7 1/2 is a good age for a big dog, god my wee shar pei went at 9 yrs and i had hoped for at least 11 x
