What beautiful dogs the tibetan mastiffs are and not a million miles from some NI`s i`ve seen.

Because the chinese shar pei is an ancient breed bred during the times of the dynasties any records would have been burned...some think chow, cause of the black tongue and tibetan mastiff, because of the loose skin...

I don't understand why it should bother you, you know that they have certain other breeds in their past why not a mastiff. It doesn't make any difference to the dogs you have.
I know the breeds of dogs that were used to make up the RR but if someone said they also used a say a lab as well, it wouldnt bother me.
