As the last thread on this seemed to go all over the place, and the OP seems to have disappeared, I was wondering if there any on this forum? Here's my fella Here he is aged about 8 weeks
Stunning, I remember seeing that puppy on a website on the net and I thought he was a gorgeous puppy, I did think he would be a light grey colour though, interesting to see how he is now, gorgeous boy, more pics would be greatfully viewed xxxx
This shows just how soft he his. He still thinks he's a lap dog And here he is in "whose got the longest tongue" competition.
Here he is with his new friend, unfortunately he ate his new friend a few weeks later: He does seem to have inherited the Husky trait of destroying things
Aye the difference is quite remarkable. It means that when you choose your pup you only have a rough idea of what he'll/she'll turn out like. His dad was a BI and his mother was an GSD, he looks quite like his dad, except his markings are a bit more pronounced.
I know see I wouldnt of prob picked him as of original colour yet his final colour is what I would love, real eye opener thanks for posting
I am confused!! Is your dogs Dad a GSD and his Mum was a GSD??? That doesn't make him a BI then does it..it makes him a BI x GSD Malamute coats do the same thing..Cruiser was almost black when he was born.. then at 3-6 months he was very sable/cream and is now darker again
Yeah, I am a bit confused. The website I have seen him on, there is a pic that you have put on here on it, does not describe him as half GSD
Ref colour it is hard to tell from his puppy pic because although he looked very light (reminded me more of our Thunder colour wise) in the flesh he was prob more a light creamy redish colour. I guess, rather like our Shunka was.
Durrrrr just realised that I wrote it wrong LOL Start again I am confused!! Is your dogs Dad a BI and his Mum was a GSD??? That doesn't make him a BI then does it..it makes him a BI x GSD
I thought BIs DID still crossbreed - so a BI could be a BI X GSD, BI X Husky, BI X Mal, BI X NI or BI X BI.
