Ref the Mal thing, we were asked if our Males were Mals once and they look nothing like Mals. Kaliska was mistaken for a Mal when she was a 8 week old pup. She was a large ball of fluff.

I would like to know what the autopsy results were from the 3 dead Ni pups but hey ho that keeps falling on deaf ears as well.

Given that the founder breeds do suffer from these conditions is it not prudent to test for them anyway regardless of whether or not you trust your source (and I am gathering you don't  ). Do the NI clubs keep a health registry where you could get the facts from? (most breeds don't, although some do).

It has been stated on here that some breeders are testing for these conditions, surely this is a good thing?

The autopsy results on those pups is none of your buisness, it is the business of the breeders and the health officer of the NIS, not on a public forum.you are obsessed with this? whats wrong with you?

I dont make assumptions I know the truth. I have owned a NI for 4 months (why is that relevant)?
I get my random facts from the NIS, why?
I assume with pups dying there must be a underlying reason they had s

There is nothing wrong with me you ignorant woman its everyone buisness who owns a NI the reason the pups died. The siblings the other siblings of these dogs that the parents of sired. Its not something the breeders should keep hush if they care about the breed.
And I will keep asking till I get an answer.

Your dog is not even registered as an NI, 4 months of owning a possible husky x does not make you an authority on NI's .how come you get your facts from the NIS when you are not even a member? The pups are not your business, they did not have similar symptoms so your info isnt even accurate

When you requested to use your rescue dog of dubious origin as stud which was denied by the NIS were you thinking about improving the breed or making money?

What makes you say Kato is a husky x?
If he is great that means he might not have Von willebrands or addisons, hip dysplasia or epilepsy like the NI breed.

O I see how this works NI want answers and request them yet cant answer anything themself that would be great if it worked.
Founder breeds had these diseases or did JK have some miracle genetics pill that meant no NIs would suffer.

    kcjack you are so funny:grin:

Did you personally know those founder dogs ? how old were you 20 yrs ago? those dogs may have been healthy examples of their breed, it would be good to have answers but personally I live in the present I dont know any NI's with these diseases and I have known NI's for a lot longer than 4 months
