   If you put my Lona next to a black german shepherd you would soon see the difference.
I have to say I prefer the Rough Coated (like Cariad) myself, but Lona has Attitude and I love her for her mind:grin: Cariad is a Bimbo I am afraid and if she was human she would be Jordan, Lona would be Carol Vordermann!!!

Thanks for all the pictures folks, no matter what I say I will never NOT like your Dogs, I just cant see the Wolfy thing, especially when JK said they werent supposed to look like them ;) nor the need for another breed, particularly given the lies surrounding them.

Im sure all of you adore your dogs as I do mine, whilst Ill argue to the end about health, lies and breeding ethics, I have nothing and never have had bad feeling about any of the Dogs.

Just the fact that every time I walk out with my dogs, at least one person and usually several say that's a wolf (not to me) to whoever they're with and often people stop me to ask. Particularly the boys - I usually get husky with the girls due to their blue eyes.

There was a programme on the wolves of yellowstone(?) park - the opening shots of the wolves running looked like a bunch of NIs - my nephew thought they were.

Guess it depends on what people expect a wolf to look like as there are so many different types anyway.

I don`t understand why anyone would want their dog to look like a wolf, rather than a dog, which is what they are. Dogs are domesticated and companiable, wolves are wild and independant. It`s not the physical appearance of the wolf that holds the key to its unique spirit - it`s the wild nature of the creature, and this can never be bred into a dog.

It would be cruel and difficult to keep a wolf and we know that. I can only go from my own experience - I've had many breeds and there is something special about the temprement and looks combined. I wouldn't get another breed now, even though I still love my other 'misfits', I can't put into words the difference between them and the NIs I have.

Are you calling the dogs naff or the people who want to own a 'copy'?
