    Agility Beagles

Here are some pics of our Beagles doing Agility.
They are mainly very good but tend to have the odd naughty Beagle moments.

    Superb pics!

How old were your beagles when they started, and how long did it take you to get them to that standard?

We started Traning our first Beagle when she was 5 years old. The other two we started training then at 10 mths. Just doing basic things like small jumps, going through tunnels and a few weave poles taken slowly just so they get the idea.

Thanks for the info. I asked 'cos we're hoping to get our little rascal Beanie into agility too. She's 8 months old at the moment, but we've reserved a place for her in a local agility class for when she hits the 1 yr mark. That gives us four months to get her recall and basic obedience back on track - they just fell apart recently when her sniffing and appetite suddenly went up a couple of notches!

    Great pictures!

I think it's great that you do agility with your Beagles! I bet they're not ones of the easiest breeds to train at agility so well done with your lot! Just brilliant.
