Ridiculous!!

If they are hip scored then why breed to another "breed"

How on earth are they ever going to become a recognized breed if they are crossing already. I may be a little dim but I thought the two breeds mentioned started out as the same breed, or am I wrong?

Hip scored, eye tested, jabbed, wormed, flead, if it's true then good on them for it, just hope they are as careful where they home them to, which sounds as if they are at least trying - "Good homes only with a knowledge of large breeds. E.G GSD, Husky". As long as they follow through with what they are portraying i'd pay £600 if I wanted a wolfy looking dog which was not KC reg, as lets face it, as much as they are lovely dogs NI and Ute e.t.c are not KC either, so it would matter not to me (personally) if it were an NI, Ute or a cross of the 2 if I were looking for this type of dog. You could pay £600+ plus for a KC reg Mal or Husky with no tests, I don't think it a particularly high price for tested dogs, KC or not.

I have to say I agree with this. The advert seems to be genuine and with both parents health tested I would far rather go for one of these pups than the many, many pups for sale with no health tests etc.

Whether you agree with these types of dogs or not, this advertiser seems to be doing their best to find good homes for the pups.

There are many adverts out there from people breeding that SAY their dogs are health tested, yet are not ! It's only when people arrive and ask for proof that they find out, it's a selling tool, with no truth behind it.

There is someone else (don't know if it;s the same people) selling this same cross, and when asked on the phone for the Hip score results, the owner said they were planning on doing it after the litter was born when they had the money !

It advertised on a free site (Gumtree) on the edinburgh one but they are from blackpool

I personally wouldn't pay £600 for a dog that I couldn't trace its history..

AND if they had did it right to start with they wouldn't have to be advertising them..I am a great beleiver in having homes BEFORE you breed

i think corrieduh's collie ghost looks more like a wolf to be honest hes stunning! why do these people want to cross dogs all dogs have wolf in them deep down and thats all that should matter,you just get people who will buy them for looks and not because they love dogs and know how to look after them

But to be fair on another thread it was pointed out that you yourself bred a litter in questionable circumstances , that weren't health tested, for which you allegedly charged £850 for! Can you see what I'm getting at?

You don't like wolf look a like breeds, that's your perogative. Other people do and that's theirs!

No, I didn't breed a litter (for the zillionth time ) my dogs were in someone else's care when they were allowed together, I wasnt in the same County as them ! The only reason my bitch wasn't with ME, is because she was in season and couldnt attend the show !

Had I have been informed that they were allowed together, by bitch would have had the Jab ASAP, so that there WERE no puppies !

Also, when I had to advertise my puppies, I didn't fool people into thinking they were health tested, when people asked me I told them they weren't as the litter wasn't intended in the first place.

Besides Rips, what has my personal history got to do with an advertisement from god knows who on a freeads website which is being discussed here !

I never understand what is wrong with liking the way a dog looks.... and if you like the way a dog looks then surely you like dogs???
And yes some people get dogs without knowing how to look after them but that applies to all breeds and 'looks'.

But at the end of the day you sold un health tested pups for more than these ones are advertised for WITH health tests! Personally I wouldn't touch any unhealth tested KC REG'D breed, let alone for £850!

My point was, don't knock those with good intentions when your own appear to be less so.

Whether you were in the next county or not, those dogs were your responsibilty, owned by you and therefore technically you bred a litter of pups.

I just really think that in this instance you have little right to try and be "holier than thou"!

I have every right, because had I have known I would have done the right thing. My litter wasn't deliberate, the litter advertised IS.

You don't know these people DO have the right intentions anyway, as I said an identical advert was called and they had not health tested, yet were advertising as they had !

I'm sick of being ridiculed by you and your 'clique'. I did nothing wrong with my dogs, I wasn't aware of the situation. I am responsible for them yes, but when someone else has them on their premises and being paid for the priviledge, they are their responsibility adn should have informed me of what they allowed my dogs to do.
