It's utter madness. I would have been happy to pay a price for a healthy new breed, but it was a lie. Don't get me wrong from my posts, I love my dog and I love these dogs but the whole enterprise is underpinned by greed and we all know what people are capable of when they are ruled by che-ching! Money.

LS, I adore the dogs, the dogs are lovely and as much victims as the owners who have been 'mislead'.

I know you do. And they are. I just don't want my bitterness towards all the factions to cloud how much I love the dogs.

I could say "with hindsight" etc. but then I wouldn't have my Loki and possibly he might have ended up with some g1t who wanted to breed from him, discovered he was epileptic and had him pts. :-(

So in a round about way, I am glad he came to us, even if I feel stupid for buying into the lies.

LS moved from the UK with 22 dogs in total I think. The utes, several huskies, a malamute, 2 collies and 2 deerhounds (I think that is correct). I am not saying they were all used for breeding. I have no idea what she did.

Agreed ... anybody with half a brain would be able to work out that back then they were never going to come anywhere near to obtain KC status.

To publically proclaim otherwise would have put her in court like JK. Far more sensible to do what she did ... batten down the hatches and be very very careful who she trusted ... once bitten, twice shy. It took us years of visiting and talking to her on the phone before she sold us Hal, she was very, very careful who she trusted, with very good reason.
