    Is he a Welsh Springer Spaniel?

    Hi, I would like to find out if this dog is a Welsh Springer Spaniel? Do you think he is young or old? I saw a picture and was just curious.

    He certainly looks correctly coloured to be a Welshie ....

    yep!!!!! looks like it too me! not a great pic though.not sure about age, spaniels are funny you trim up the oldies & they look like pups, id go for older, but really not sure on that one!

    Looks like one too me but hes a bit lightly coloured, could be a brittany mix do you have a side view. Also he;s not good much feathering but that could be because he''s just been trimmed. I'd go for over 7

    i'd say brittany mix too... can WSSs have ticking? he looks a little roany/ticked in the pic...

    Brittany was the breed that came into my mind due to the head shape etc. Not an easy photo to tell by though.
