http://web.mac.com/teamnummerein/GSD_Insider/Interview-Carol_Eastwood.html Congratulations to the Team Antilli Carol & Alyson They are one of the limited number of breeders that I am willing to recommend to people looking for a pup, all are from Health Tested (hips/elbows/heamo) and titled to a high standard. They also give kennel space to rescues and help with getting them back to A GOOD CONDITION AND INTO THEIR FOREVER HOMES.
Really enjoyed reading that,Thanks for posting We are currently researching the breed with a view to buying a puppy,we want a good, well bred puppy not to do anything with like showing just to be a member of our family & pet,Definatly Breeders to consider
You wouldnt go wrong with Carol, they also currently have 5 rescues in their kennels awaiting homes. Pam
Hi Helena You can see 3 of them at the bottom of this page; http://www.antilligsd.com/pages.php?page_ID=3 not sure about the 4th, the 5th one came in today all I know is its a longcoat, if you are interested Carol's and Alyson's contact details are at the bottom of the page. Pam
just looked at the rescues, they are lovely hope they get a forever home soon. Helena are you tempted? I bet you are xx
Thanks Pam. After falling in love at first sight with the gorgeous little puppy at the top, I scrolled down to see the rescues, and I feel so sorry for poor Danny, but they've done a fantastic job with him now, he looks very happy now, and then I read the poem:-( and that's set me off again, and it got me thinking, can I really, really go through that again more than once more with Georgie? I don't know. I'm smitten with this breed, always have been, they are the only dogs for me, and now Dave says I CAN have another, and Georgie desperately needs a pal to play with, and these are only sort of up the road from where I live too? It all sort of fits doesn't it!!! I did approach Vigil many years ago, but I didn't like the woman in charge, she got up my nose so I bought a puppy!!! I'd love another puppy, but I don't think I could do it all the time there's lovely grown ups that need happy caring homes. I'll sleep on it!!!
It seems to fit perfectly , I wish you luck but some how I feel you won't get that much sleep tonight ;-) . I know what you mean about the breed though I love them to bits, both my Zak and Zeita mean so much to me. Georgie will love a new play mate my Zak seems to have had a second lease of life Keep us informed, must admit Danny touched me too, if I was closer and in a position to have him I would but sadly I am not :-( Mel xx
... and then there's the 5th one Mel, which is a longcoat, and I've always had longcoats. Oh dear, this is not good Hmmmmmmm, ponder ponder. I might get in touch with them next week perhaps;-)
won't do any harm to give them a call just to get more info of course. I have had a long coat (Merlin RIP) my Mum has one too (Samson) they are gorgeous, both my 2 are shorts Good luck with the decision making Mel x
