WHAT HEALTH ISSUES, ive still to find out where all these sickly dogs are. tida dont want to build bridges, they never have, the chairperson only formed it as revenge and didnt get as many members as she thought she would, ok so no other breeds have been used, to my knowledge, spotted wolf is a Ute kennel, not N.I. and he was on the reccommended breeders list. I dont mind people asking if my dog has any wolf in it, I always tell them no and i will point out their bad points, they do have some, not many but they are there, such as heavy moulting, seperation anxiety and the fact that they COULD kill small animals.
Your chairperson seems to find one single dog that has some illness and then, in attempt to discredit the NI society, suddenly its in all our dogs.
As to HD, there are other causes, and I dont think that up to 10 dogs being kept in a 6' x 10' wash house can be terribly good for them.
As much as you want to whitewash it, all 4 bitches were bred from before being hipscored, all within days of each other, I know of no other breeder who would have so many litters together without having homes waiting for the pups.

But this is it......your stating negative remarks about an NI breeder........ for me i don't know if this is true or just putting some one in bad light because of your own feelings.
Honestly i have nothing against the NI as a new breed, but i can't help but think if you as owners/breeders behave in such a manner on a public board, your leaving yourself and your breed wide open to attack. No one likes their breed or own dogs being attacked in a negative way, which ever side of the NIs you come from.
Why can't you put politics aside and your dogs 1st, until you can and do then i am sorry to say i personally think your failing your own dogs and the breed.
It won't be easy i'm sure but you have to remind yourself, why you are trying to resolve any problems the breed may have, i'm sure a TIDA dog doesn't have a problem with NI dog.

Why would TIDA want to be involved with the NIS when TIDA has made it clear their intention is to add other breeds to their NIDS??????????????????????????????????And the NIS are with good reason against this.

There shouldn't be any sides......... you all own the same breed!
Like any breed you will get some breeders who have their own opinions on other breeders dogs etc.
There is curtain breeders in the leo world, i would never get a leo from, but at the same time, they still have/are leos.

Both these bitches when in the hands of the TIDA chairperson had puppies before being hipscored.

No I do not see what you mean, there is no justification to interfere with this breed by adding other breeds in.

shall we take undescended testicles for a start off.. no one will disagree that`s a problem in the breed. My bitch`s breeder (as i`m sure you all know) owns the sire .. every litter of pups he`s produced all the males have had two testicles. Now my Dog.. (who`s breeder you are slating).. his sire is also the same dog as my bitch. The dam of my dog is from the head of the NIS.. he is monorchid.. so who must have bred that into his line?

She can't be that bad of a breeder if Abbie was happy to buy a pup from her, and if the dogs she has bred are getting low hip scores.

Remind me was he rehomed 4 or 5 times?? And at which responsible rehoming by your (TIDA) chairperson was the dog seen on the net being advertised as a stud dog? And she went to collect him and he was chained up outside in the pouring rain?????????

So all the falling out is over 1 / 2 dogs changing hands and being breed?
Sorry but in any breeder let either of them have a litter before scoring are as bad as 1 another to me.
I give up......you are all too busy slinging mud, to consider the effects it has on your dogs and the breed future.

You are also forgetting to state that the sire of the dog you are talking about is also owned by the head of the NIS.

I have also heard that the bitch you are talking about produces monorchids. So why has she had so many litters? At least 3 that I know of.

Just because one of the pups she produced has good hips doesn't mean they all will, and you yourself said that pups origins were from the NIS....

Incidently, she used the stud dog with bad hips to sire puppies, so let us see how do we know the puppies produced will have good hips? Oh and one of those puppies is to be a future stud dog is it not... T

How can a bitch produce monorchids? Bitches can only produce girls it's the boys that decide on the sex and hence the relevant sexual organs.

I have been following this thread and even if I was considering the breed I don't think I'd bother.

The dogs interests should come first, the impression I get is that your all too busy bitching & slagging each other off to see the damage your doing to the breed.

From what I've read I wouldn't even know where to start  Your more interested in arguing & dishing dirt.

It reminds me of a bunch of primary school kids at playtime
