Has anyone heard of these, I know about labradoodles and golden etc but have never heard of a springerdoodle.
OMG the Affenpoo looks evil!!! I love Bear the doodleman pincher though but yes you do ask why?? and the further down the page you get the worse the names are!! whoodles ?
I love Standard Poodles, and eventually want to train one for hunting ducks. My theory on the whole poodle hybrid thing is that people love the intellagence, no shedding, personality, and athleticism of a poodle but they dont like the stigma of owning one. "prissey, pampered, show dog only"...... and so on. So they mix them in hopes that the qualities they like in the poodle will survive the cross, and they wont have the "prissey" look. but I say, If you want a poodle, get a poodle. I used to walk a St. Poodle that weighed 45 lbs and could take down a 105 lbs Rotti/malamute mix. (she steer wresled him to the ground... he didn't stand a chance)
I think it looks like a terrible version of a Poodle. If you want a dog with a coat like a Poodle have a blooming Poodle and just don't clip it or keep it in a puppy clip all of it's life. That site I find disgusting on how many crosses there are. Some of us work blooming hard with the proper breeds that they are crossing with Poodles etc. and it really annoys me.
