The Hull event was very good with a big turnout. The Cumbria show had almost as many, but it only has to be expected that people can't all attend weekends around the country monthly. There's not always going to be the same people able to attend everything. There's also bound to be a lower attendance because of sudden venue changes due to people promising to help with organisation and then not being available etc. The other point is that as the events are generally run to the same schedule people will get somewhat bored of similar workshops etc at each event. To run a large scale event monthly is a hard push for a limited number of people.

Glad to hear you all had a good time, regardless of the weather.
I on the other hand was freezing my t*ts off in a boat on the North sea, pandering to my teenage daughter (she was 13 on the 17th) and being dragged off to pizza hut for dinner

Like the photo Kate  Had I collapsed in bed by then?

I think that holding the workshops at different locations around the country is a great idea, it gives everyone a chance to join in at their local show, people who have never shown before are more prepared for the show on the Sunday. Different things are covered as well as ringcraft and clicker training, and there are fun events as well.

yes I have been to the shows, otherwise I obviously wouldn't be able to make comments on the shows and fundays if I hadn't been there and witnessed them with my own eyes!

and no I am not part of the TIDA comittee or anything to do with any of the organisers of the shows, I just enjoy taking my dogs along to the shows and joining in the fun.

If others aren't as easily pleased or impressed as me, they don't have to go. I go because I enjoy taking my dogs, and meeting up with other like minded owners.

I'm sure I would be made just as welcome if I came along to any of the NIS shows, but as I have never been to a NIS show I can't make comments on here about how well organised, and well attended they are.

Yes she is 'Chimayo's Inuk Amarok' out of Mahlek Lady Jane and Shadowlands Aragorn of Mahlek

So as Julie pointed out on other threads, all NI's are descended from the Mahlek lines, as she is the founder of the breed.
