Back to the topic the show. It was fantastic, yeah the weather wasn't perfect saturday a few showers but today the sun was out all day and it was perfect. Out of all the many inuits there not one that was at all bothered by any of the planes. The planes were not about constantly but when they were its like the dogs didn't even notice, they all behaved fantastic. Once again they had lots of off lead play time and all got on fantastic, people who came by to see them were amazed how many dogs we had off lead together and how well they all got on. Makes you proud of the breed. Pictures will be posted tomorrow as im too tired tonight.

Well when you do decide to start looking your best bet would be to contact the Northern Inuit Society, we will be able to give you a list of our approved breeders with health tested dogs.

the show was fantastic, weather not good on Sat but brill for the show on the Sunday, didn't see any dogs stressed by the planes or the market, there is a lot to be said for well socialised dogs, all were very well behaved, and yes, the show was very well organised.
If anyone needed advice on buying a NI puppy they were given plenty of helpful advice about the breed by the breeders that were at the show.

the people sleeping in the two caravans would have been ok,but i wouldnt have wanted to be the person in the tent lol.considering it was suppose to be eleven o clock start on the saterday what went wrong[or was that down to the weather].
you also say people got advice of breeders, well the only breeder there was the chairperson, who

Well the people in the caravans which i know for a fact was more than 2 were fine but there were actually many tents there and everyone seemed happy in those too. We didn't expect everyone to be out in the rain just as it was 11am but as soon as the rain stopped we all had a great time. As for breeders there were breeders there and not just our own chairperson but guess with reference to the no. of tents caravans and breeders some people can't count who knows. The only thing that really matters is that all the owners and dogs that came had a fantastic time and thats all I care about. Can't wait till the next event.

like i said really pleased you all had a good time. think everyone will agree that the best advice for anyone wanting a northern inuit is to really do your home work and to go round and see as many breeders and owners as possible.

I did hear that there was a very poor tunout on the Friday evening and so do hope people did turn up on the Saturday and Sunday. As members of the committee we should shortly receive details of how the event went. Regarding the hipscoring etc, this was included on a list of questions raised by ourselves which so far have not been answered. We did not know about a half brother sister mating although when a request was made by the vice chairperson (OH) of TIDA to the chairperson to view the database this was refused.

I trust that all had a good weekend as usual no matter what the turnout.

If you do look for a dog may I suggest you really do do your homework on these dogs and phone as many breeders and look at as many litters as you can you will soon see who has breed standard pups check out our breed standard on our forum.

The "poor turnout" on the friday would have been because we only had a licence for members to camp on saturday night the Friday night and sunday night we had permission for committee members to set up and dismantle the show. I assume the NIS have local council licences for the shows they hold.

Well i was at the NIS essex show last year and I would say TIDA shows are on that large of a scale and have been every month which is fantastic considering we have a show every month not just 2 a year. No spitefulness at all, I am sure we all just want to promote this lovely breed.

   if thats what you want to think brecky thats fine,i think the response on here after the shows says it all,but ive no wish to argue with you or any northern inuit owner on here.on another note i would still love to see your photos [and no thats not a sarcastic comment]not to see your show but to see the dogs,i saw your dog mani [bred by sue] last year and thought he turned out nice, but would love to see his brother owned by lindsey, most dogs have got mybreeding behind them as i started the breed so i like to see how there developing:lol:
