This is Sydney in the woods at Xmas.

She is just over 2 years old.
She loves to run in those woods !!

And another - watching the swans (they are there somewhere!) but she will not go near them as she does not like to get her feet wet.

Ahh..............its nice to see a few ridgies on the forum! My girl (my 2nd RR) is just 18 months old and is a total ratbag! She and the kelpie (Wandy) get along really well most of the time, after mealtimes is a bit dogdy - Wandy gets a bit funny, dunno whether its a food possession thing or what? But generally they play well together, with their footy (an AFL football that is, not a "soccer" ball:blush: ) or a big lump of rubber liner!

Not quite sure how to load up photos, as Ive posted much here yet, but when I find out how, I will inundate you all with lots of piccies of my girls.

She is stunning, I love her colouring so rich. The last pic is brilliant. If you ever want a babysitter give me a shout :)

I am trying not to wish away his puppyhood but I can't wait to see the dog he will become

What a shame you are so far away ...

Sydney loves to meet up and play without other Ridgebacks - she can spot them miles away !!!

She is quite a dark red colour. She always manages to attract a crowd when she is out. I am positive you will find the same with Beau.

    xx

i realize this is an old thread just wondering if any one out there has known any ridgeback crosses as i have one crossed stuffy and she is a fantastic dog,you just don't see many first crosses with R.Rs so i feel a little lonely lol.

yes i do but IL have to figure out how to put them on here lol she is dark brown with a black nose white blaze on chest and paws, and has the eyes just like a R.R but she is smaller about 21 22 inches with a slightly bigger jaw line, staff stance and smile and smaller ears than a R.R but she has no ridge although she has a big line that runs straight down her back when her hackles come up lol i always say she is half and half physically and personality Wise's is a great runner and also her nose and sight rule when shes out side like any other hound, i just find her intriguing and will defo put up pics.

Thank you! have you seen her ears there much to small for her head bless her lol but she is the sweetest little thing. I had some man on the street ask me what she was a few weeks ago and i told him what she is and he told me she will be a dangerous dog because of her breeds which really got my hackles up,some people just don't know what there talking about do they?
