    Hi Minihaha

Molly and Gemma are from different lines and are different in some ways as mollys fur is very soft and she has a very hairy belly were Gemma fur is more wiry and her belly is not so hairy. Molly is laid back to put it another way she is like a 1960's hippy on dope  while Gemma is a nutter we all call her ASBO as if there is anthing going on she is the one doing it or the one in the middle of it and molly follows.
Gemma is also darker in colour. I would not have the pair of them anyother way. They are always together and they never never fight to be honist I don't think they have a bad bone in them they just share everything. Food toys the lot.

Asti mum, Lexi mum and mimihaha great pictures of your wonderful girls. Asti looks so happy surounded with her toys

Thank you Trixybird, Schnauzerbabe and everyone for your lovely comments. And yes Trixybird you are a 100% right they are very contended girls

Lovely pictures Elaine and Alison :)
Minis are such little characters ain't they, I find them quite unlike any other breed. Millie has to do everything at 100 miles an hour (except eat, I have never know a Mini not to be greedy before) , when I call her I nearly get knocked over in the rush

Pepper certainly has 'character' in abundance! She's the same as Millie in that everything is done at 100mph, unfortunately often using me as a breaking wall, so I have had to master the last minute sidestep so she misses! And in Pepper's case including eating!

I also just wanted to add what a fantastic tail Millie has! Super shape and I love the way it curls over her back, do you trim the hair on it short? Mini I know you've been in the breed forever what do you think about it? I would have loved Pepper to have a tail, but she certainly manages to waggle her stumpy bit pretty convincingly!

Great pictures everyone, gorgeous dogs, any more out there?

    Hi Mother*ship
Love the photo's of your great looking girl.
Asbo AKA Gemma goes throuh the dog flap at 100mph. She also only has 2 speeds sleep and go no in between . But Gemma does eat slowly and i'm sure that she has a smile on her face when she enjoys something.

Hi mothership :) I must say the tails take a bit of getting used to :-o and they seem to vary from dog to dog (which is not surprising, having always been docked there hasn't been chance to get any uniformity ).

Millies tail is thick at the bottom, then quickly tapers off to become very thin for most of its length. I am cutting the hair on the tail rather than stripping it so that some thickness of hair remains, I don't want a thin rat tail.
When she is excited it curls over her back, but otherwise just sort of hangs there  .

We do! Live in a small house that is

When we have the back door open and Pepper gets one of those mad moments she runs round the garden, comes cannoning in the door, uses the futon set against the opposite wall to bounce off (woe betide anyone who might be sitting on it! ) and continues her trajectory back into the garden....

In contrast to Lexi here is Pepper showing her sad lack of fur! No way I'm going to get the feathers on those skinny legs to look like columns! Can you see why we've given up on trying to give her a proper schnauzer trim? We just go for unique/scruffy terrier look now.

Mother*ship there is nothing wrong with her legs.
She is so adorable I love her ears not floppy but not standing up.
I love to see her have her mad moments I bet that brings a great big smile to your face and laughter to the house.

Oh yes, her ears, the less said about them the better! She's such a sorry excuse for a schnauzer, only her Mummy could love her (and of course everyone else who meets her because she's so cute and friendly) but she certainly won't be winning any prizes for conformation!

The only person not laughing at her is the one she's just bounced off at 100 mph! She's got no respect for personal space!! Despite the fact she sleeps with us, after she's been out for a wee in the morning she always likes to rush back upstairs and walk on top of anyone who's still in bed and stick her cold wet nose right in their face!

Incidentally I can't believe that dog bed! posh or what? But do they actually sleep on it? Go on be honest, I bet they are in with you.
