Oh wow, such beautiful labs! Here's Sally at four months, she's my Aunty's little baby. I had two labrador boys, Nixon (black) and Grady (yellow) but sadly haven't any digital photos of them :-( They were both ex-Guide dogs, well-Nixon was retired from guiding and Grady never made it that far as he wasn't suitable to be a guide dog. He was far too barmy and proved it by doing Agility with me for years. Ally
Here's my beautiful boy Harry I say 'mine', he is the family dog we got when I was about 15, I don't live at home any more but I still consider him my dog really . He is an absolute sweetheart, although he's more trained the family than us trained him. He is scared of water too, which his odd for a lab. He fell in the breeder's pond as a tiddler, and now panics whenever he's out of his depth, we've never been able to get him over it. I love labs, I WILL be getting my own dog in the next 12-18 months, and seriously considering it being a lab although not sure about our lifestyle etc yet. I've always wanted a chocolate bitch.......had a name picked out for years.
Great dog harry, Its great to meet another lab owner whos dog hates water, Star does. Skye loves the stuff as did my old boy Storm.
Hi, thanks for your welcome msg - will try to post pic of the only lab I have left - he's 10 yrs. It may not work.
hello everyone, thought we would post a couple of pics of our new lab puppy, he`s called buster and we cant wait to get him home and start the fun and traing, he still lives with his breeder until we move into our new house which should be next week fingers crossed, buster is nine weeks old and we love him already
Hello my dog is a lab, but she is mixed with boxer. She is 7 weeks now and her name is Precious. They are good dogs and I like em alot. I was wondering if anyone might know how big she will get? If you can show me a picture example of how big she will be, that would be great. Thanks for your help.
A labrador dog's height should be 22" - 22 1/2 inches to the shoulder and a bitch should be 1 inch smaller - but as a boxer is a taller dog so who knows what height she'll be.
