Lol, just catching up with emails, I seem to have quite a few.

No he came from a family home where they had a male Mal and a femal Sibe that 'accidentally' bred. However we never found out about the parents lines so I am interested why you recognise him?

Kismet came from a deliberate breeding between two family pet Huskamutes.

I know, I know... I'll get the bell... "Unclean Unclean"...

Me too and I'm really glad it did. It's nice to know that there are other Husky x Mal owners out there (or husky/mal x husky/mal in Kismets case). That lassie would melt the hardest of hearts

Our Husky x Mal is a rescued deliberate cross to produce the designer dog 'a huskamute'. Bred only to line the breeders pockets.

With my 'welfare' head on I have said time and time again that Jacub should never have been born. As his 'mum' I am thankful everyday that he was. He very rarely leaves my side. I would be lost without my boy.

If we go to fundraisers Jacub has a voice. He stands in between a sibe and a mal and his history is explained to the public. Thank goodness one of us is manageing to make a difference, I'm still chasing my own tail trying to get something done about his breeder!

On the stake out line J. is the first dog people head for. Bottom jaws crash to the ground when we say 'Jacub is a mongrel'. Wicked I know but I only giggle on the inside

All our guys are rescue, non are KC registered. I never interperate people's negative reaction as 'pedigree snobbery' just folks deeply concerned for the welfare of dogs like him. He's no second class citizen. He's a northern boy, a gentleman and the best darn dowg I've ever had the pleasure of loving.
