    Does anyone own an Italian Spinone? My sister has had five over the years and currently owns three - two dogs and a bitch.

    Will post photos shortly.

    They are gorgeous, I love Spinones too, such lovely temperaments and stunning good looks.
    Are they as loopy as Setters I wonder:)

    The ones I have known aren't loopy at all Rachel, they are really laid back :)

    Not a problem for me if they are - the loopier the better as far as I'm concerned here! They do look rather chilled out -I've only met a puppy really - she was just lovely!

    Now Scorpio will you have room for a Spinone as well as your Pointers and English!

    Just seeing if I could squeeze one in along with a Pointer and maybe a Leo (I know not a Gundog but hey) too????? Do you think my OH would notice!

    Gorgeous!! Such strapping dogs, and such a soft expression! People who once lived across the road from us (since moved) had a pair and they were such soppy things!! Such contrast to most gundogs..

    Well OH has been commenting recently re: Pointers and Spinones actually! so I guess with a little bit of work maybe could get away with it! ? :lol:

    There lovely dogs. Theres a woman at agilty whos got one. Half way over a jump it picks up a scent, nose down & off it goes following it :lol:

    She isn't a breeder, but her dog is a show champ and stud dog. She is Abby Firth - do you know her? :)

    dosnt ing a bell but my friend breeds them, wheres she based??
    i'll ask my friends - ruth n jeff roberts - ask her if she knows them. We got basil from Hollutrix line ( dad was italian import)
    i know Suzanne whittingham really well and load of others.
