If anyone is interested, the large online cemetery/memorial website, FindAGrave, now allows pet memorials. Try searching for the species/breed as the last name. You can also create a memorial page even if your pet is not buried in a cemetery. Numbers of results was telling: German shepherd - 14 JRT - 3 Golden retriever - 1 Labrador retriever - 5 Cocker spaniel - 4 Irish setter - 1 Siberian husky - 0 Beagle - too many people with the last name of beagle for any dogs to show up. I even tried Beagle dog and got a person last name of beagle doggett... Akita - too many people with the last name

Try searching for "Spaniel" only or something like "Spaniel Dog". Hopefully the website will be reorganized at some point, maybe with an "official" section for pets.
