Puppy ear not folding forward (rose fold) Questions

Hi,

I have a 41/2 month old catahoula. Her ears were nicely folded forward last week and now they are wonky or ?rosefold. Any advice on if the ears will return to the forward fold or if there is something we can do to encourage that.

We don't have this breed in the UK but ear carriage in several breeds can be erratic until the puppy has their permanent teeth.
You may get a different response from the US though!

@CaroleC has the same answer I have. Usually ear carriage flops around a while before finally settling in a set position.

You could always ask the breeder if any of the line has had any oddities regarding ear carriage.

Breeder might have some insights. Worth asking them about it.
