    Lovely and sunny here too and it must be warm outside as there are children around in teeshirts and shorts, but it is still cold indoors.

    It was sunny and warm-ish a couple of hours ago, then the sun vanished and it is now bucketing down and it is cold.

    Really bright and fresh today. We had a lovely quiet walk - only for a mile or so because of Ed's eye and my hip. (It's strange but I have never gone lame in the ring!).

    Quite warm last couple of days, around 23 degrees. Didn't light the fire today or tonight for the 1st time this year.... 3 days ago it was horrible chilly and wet so not all good.

    It was 32°C today and stuffy as Hades. The temperature is due to drop heavily Thursday and Friday, with rain forecast for both days.

    It is just ridiculous. One day it is thermals neck to ankles with two layers of winter clothes on top, then it is oh-my-ears-and-whiskers where are my lightweight clothes. At the moment it is winter stuff in the wardrobe and cupboard, with summer stuff in boxes upon boxes, and I dare not change things around because as soon as I do I will be freezing again.

    It is cool and raining today. Same since yesterday afternoon and is expected to continue through tomorrow. Full rain suit to walk the dogs, and they need to be toweled off afterward

    Well it rained enough to bring down a huge tree at the top of our road and the one we turn off of. Took 2 plus hours to clean it up. I was working with a saw from my side, and had someone pulling away what I’d cut, as well as 2 people running saws on the other side. There was also a neighbor with a big backhoe with a clamshell bucket on the front, so he was able to move some big pieces.

    I was trying to upload a picture but it’s not working for me..

    This is the base of the tree that took down other trees like bowling pins. Spent 5 more hours today cleaning it up and cutting firewood rounds.

    The power of nature should never be underestimated.

    It is absolutely glorious here today. Sun, sun, sun and lovely and warm. Pity we can't go out, but the garden is lovely to sit in

    It looks as if the core of the tree was rotten at the bottom - it is a good thing that the tree did not fall on anyone, and at least you got a goodly supply of firewood from it.

    Spectacular Supermoon tonight. Supposed to be rose pink, but looked kind of peach coloured to me. The hounds are in a strange distant mood, could be the full moon - or maybe a no walkies sulk!
