The more, the merrier Gareth! Unfortunately I cannot make head nor tail of how to post new pictures now, with no Tinypic or Photobucket I seem to be stuck. I lost most of my photographs I had on Picasa when that was discontinued - a few appeared on Microsoft Photos but nothing seems to work when I try to upload a file here.
A litter mate of of our male had to be put down today at only 14 months due to neurological problems so we are terrified. Any advice or suggestions?
Another lovely picture of your two, Jeff - dressed in their Christmas finery! Regarding the litter mate of your boy - it depends on what neurological problems it had and whether it was known what caused them. Do you know any specific details?
Narcolepsy and epilepsy were two of the causes. He was treated for a ear infection with steroids and that triggered it supposedly.
@Jeff Crook - I do not want to involve Gareth's thread so will start a new one for you about your boy's litter mate. OK? Just look out for a new thread titled FAO Jeff Crook.
Yeah nothing wrong Juli. Just lost 6 months worth of work on a new song I'd almost finished mixing, but got deleted by mistake. Was up til 6am trying everything t'internet suggested to try to recover it, but no success. So I have to start it all over again from scratch!!!
Not had the best Christmas to be honest either Carole, my aunty died on the 28th, she had vascular dementia. She fell at home on the Friday, but didn't reover from a massive bleed on the brain, plus 7 mini strokes no one knew she had throughout last year (which expalined the falling). But she's not in pain any longer.
Oh dear. It is such a cruel disease. This may soud insensitive, but maybe she would have chosen to end her life that way, over a life of increasing confusion and indignity.
It's not at all cruel, don't worry. I would rather slip away peacefully than suffer agony, knowing everyone else is struggling to deal with what is to come! 'Life goes on' is what I've learnt, from working in an operating theatre for the majority of my career!
