Rocco settled in really well. He’s 11 weeks old today!! I just want to thank you all for the comments and getting back to me and just want to apologise for my attitude in some comments as I just didn’t want to hear it but I’m glad I did because I know it’ll make me a better owner. Rocco is 3/4 staffy 1/4 dobermen.
This is our boy Flynn Hello, Thank you, yes they are. Apologies for no tag on the first one I have only just got the hang of posting! They are 6 months old
This is my newest addition. Meet Blue. He is around 11 months old. I know his name isn't very original but that was what they called him when he was rescued and brought to me. The people that he belonged to when he was just a puppy (from what we gather up until he was about 8 months old) just moved off and left him. But, thank goodness my best friend saw that he had been without food or water and loaded him up right then and there and brought him to my house. The man that lived across the street from them said his owners had been gone for over a couple of weeks and had taken all of their other dogs with them (they were backyard breeders of Staffordshire Bull Terriers) and that they weren't coming back and he couldn't afford to take care of him but had been trying to feed him what scraps he had left every day. If he hadn't been brought to me he would have ended up dying and he's such a beautiful and smart dog. The only problem is that he gets separation anxiety horribly even if I just walk out the front door. He starts whining and then he destroys whatever room he's in. But as long as I'm with him you couldn't ask for a better dog. He's learned all of his basic commands. He even travels great. It's a good thing too because if he didn't I wouldn't have a house left. I'm hoping he'll outgrow it after enough time but if he doesn't oh well. He's found his forever home.
He is lovely - how could people just leave him? Good for you for taking him and giving him his forever home.
