hi all thought I'd join this site as it seems to be knowledgeable folk , as this is my first Akita I'm a bit apprehensive but more excited than anything to finally bring her home . Its been a long 8 weeks for me and my kids lol . Anyway I look forward to contributing to the forums and hopefully letting you all watch our new girl grow and develop .

Aren't they just adorable when they are puppies. I envy the fun, frustrations and mischief you will have in the next few months. Enjoy every second. They grow up so very, very quickly
What a beautiful name & whichever she is they are all stunning looking. I hope you all enjoy her when she arrives, try to keep your child/children calm around her to prevent whipping her up into an excited frenzie, her baby teeth will feel sharp and it is natural for a pup to puppy bite, that can be gently worked on when she has settled in Please remember she will be missing her “ pack “ tonight and everything will be frightening & new.....she will take some time to get used to everything Let us know tomorrow how your night went I’m so excited for you Philippa
The OP was supposed to get his puppa last Wednesday - I do hope the puppa is home and well now. It would be good to hear so.
Good morning all , well karma is home and settling in slowly , couple of sleepless nights but she's coming on nicely got her to sit on command already no paws on command really only when it suits her lol . But here's a few pics of her
Well spotted lol its a flute band we don't play pipes , only flutes , snare drums and a bass drum , and a color party of flags . My son plays a drum and flute , I'm not so talented so I run the colour party and carry a flag .
Karma is beautiful. She looks like a young lion cub in that first photo . Enjoy every moment. They grow up way too quickly x

My name is Graeme but friends just call me G or BIG G due to my height at 6ft 2 , I don't mind which is used lol And yes that's me and my son at a parade earlier this year .
