    Does anyone have a Chesapeake bay retriever

    Has anyone got a chessie ?
    Have you got experience of working them as a gun dog ?
    My new partner has a 5 month old and is a member of basc and is new to the gun dog world so looking for advise and experienced owner :)

    The best person for your friend to speak with is Janet Morris. or Mr. Greenhough with the BASC - he's an experienced gundog handler and has a CBR.

    No problem Keef - it is very easy to miss the dates on posts and it is nice that you took the trouble to respond to the OP as there might be other CBR owners who come onto Breedia in the future. :)
