    Mine love to play with the hose pipe but im always very careful they don’t drink too much, it can also happen if they drink too much water too fast, so after heavy exercise I don’t give water straight away as it stops them ‘gulping’ it down to quick.

    Is it the fact they are taking too much air in at the same time or literally just too much water ?

    Bit of both.
    Drinking too much water too quickly can cause gulping of air’ which is thought could contribute to bloat.
    Having lost a young dog to bloat I don’t take any chances
