Yesterday was dry but still windy, today is Sunshine and hardly no wind. Not sure how long it will last though.
We've still got the wind (few branches down), but the sun has been out on and off this morning. Not half as cold as yesterday so quite pleasant despite the wind
It's a scorcher. In fact, it's so hot I was able to do my Pilates without having to turf the dogs out of the room. Normally as soon as I get down onto the floor they smother me with licks, but today they just couldn't be bothered.
Hiya, If its a very hot day like it is today. I normally walk Harper late in the evening, when its cool. I work at a restaurant that allows dogs so she has been spending the day sat in the diner with a basket of her favourite toys. Still a puppy at heart. Jane xx
I think we sent all our good weather over to you 'cos yesterday was so cold I had to wear a sweater. It rained most of the day but managed to stay dry long enough to take the dogs for a walk and in the afternoon to training. It was raining and cold when we got up this morning, but now it's a warm and blustery day and I'm working in the garden trying to sort out the damage to my veggie patch made by the hailstorm we had last week!
Hot, hot hot but not as humid as yesterday. That was awful. We work our walks around the weather. We have a good, shady route for days like today and Rosie travels on my knee on the one stretch where we can't get her in the shade (and therefore cooler pavement). Home and fan now on full. Madam is asleep on my bed
The Beags have had their 36" plastic bed filled with water, and slices of apple, cucumber and carrot floated, (or sunk), in it. Of course bossy, greedy Merry took the lions share, leaving poor Ed to have to dip for the smaller pieces. No walks till this evening, as I am a wet rag whenever it goes over 70°, and thank goodness, no shows this weekend.
I think it might be for me Janet but i can dream' can just picture the sun setting on a small island a very remote lake and the only light is the flames from the campfire.
You could probably buy yourself a small island in the Hebrides - I believe it's cooler up there this weekend too!
