My 3 cute little goldfish. The NON orange one is named Omen, the longer orange one is named Randy, and the more stubby orange one is Robin.
Very nice, how large is your pool? Nice to see goldfish in a large body of water instead of a stupid bowel.
It is 70 gallons. Here are before and after photos of them all from July to now Robin before Robin after Omen before Omen after Randy before Randy after They're all doing very well and I do love them!
I cannot believe they just let you pick them up. What happens in the winter, if you have a winter, will they be warm enough being outdoors?
Next year they will be warm enough. They might be this year, but as they are babies, I won't risk it. They all come inside when any freezing type of weather hits. You'd be surprised Malka. This particular breed of fish is very intelligent and can be quite tame. In one of my indoor tanks, this is my most docile fish... She will actually come to you when called and will sit still and ENJOY being petted for a long time. You don't want to damage their slime coats by petting too much, but we call them water dogs. They really are under rated pets.
Hello, I absolutely love the light on the water, and how it brings out your babies lovely colours. My fish babies are indoors, and are fresh water tropicals in a planted tank. I enjoy sitting quietly, and watching them go silently about their lives in the water. I find it very peaceful. Thanks so much for sharing. ~Elana~
I love tetras. Your setup is awesome. I have a planted indoor tank, as well... Though of course mine has a little Ryukin baby goldfish in it. Very much enjoy the fishkeeping hobby. Nice to see someone else with fish, as well.
Yes, fishkeeping is an awsome hobby, but you want to expand and expand... A tank of this species, a tank for that species, lol. I know a fellow, with whom we dog walk, who has something like 80 tanks in his basement. I'm also an avid Finch person, with close to 100 birds, filling my days with song..... Best wishes ~Elana~
