    Hello Everyone From Thaddeus Alastar

    Hello All,
    I have a 15 week old Irish Wolfhound puppy named Thaddeus. I'm very excited about finding this forum because he is my first BIG dog. I have several questions about different training aspects for my little giant and am looking forward seeing everyone's posts.

    Thank You for the welcome and yes, he is a very big softie. We are navigating house training and puppy teething but otherwise he is very gentle.

    He is always very well behaved at the vet. He loves his nails clipped and we are working on letting her clean his ears by practicing at home. He refuses to eat their treats though.....until they let him off the table.

    Positive training always and NILF training.

    You really need to start training the day you bring them home.
    Never worked with IWH, but have with giant breeds.
    Never hit a giant breed as punishment (can't stress this enough).
